When the bride opts for navy sequin converse as her footwear for the day, you know that it’s gonna be a fun and lighthearted day. Kellie and Thomas said their vows in a garden ceremony under clear blue September skies at Virginia Crossings Hotel and Conference Center, Tapestry Collection by Hilton on a day that they planned to be uniquely theirs.
Kellie donned an Oleg Cassini gown purchased at David’s bridal, while the men sported grey suits from Men’s Wearhouse. After a poolside cocktail hour, guests moved to the Glen Room, which had been transformed into an intimate reception space decorated in lush florals in hues of navy and plum and photos of couples pets. The space was perfect for the 65 family and friends that joined Kellie and Tom. Even their cake topper celebrated the couples “Mutual Weirdness Forever”. DJ Tony had both young and old on the dance floor until the very last song.
