While may folks have been focused by a royal wedding more than 3,700 miles away, I am still in awe over our own “Royal Wedding”, the celebration of the marriage of Latisha & Dwayne. On a bright and beautiful April afternoon, these two said their vows, through happy tears and laughter, in front of their friends and family in the Chesapeake Room of the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond. Every detail of their day was about the celebration. The joy and jubilation of the union of these two carried through throughout the cocktail hour, and into the reception. Dinner and drinks kept the guests happy, and DJ Drake kept the dance floor busy. A stunning simple all white cake by Katherine’s Confections was cut after truly heartfelt toasts from a distinguished group of Latisha & Dwayne’s friends and family. It was impossible not to catch the contagious energy and happiness from the bride, groom and their guests of this “Royal” wedding. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Royal… it was an honor to photograph your wedding!
