Somehow is the hustle and bustle of the busy fall schedule, I failed to blog this beautiful Micro-Wedding held at Maymont Park in October. Nancy and Tom said their wedding vows to one another under a giant Tulip Poplar tree up on a hill in an open field at Maymont on a Wednesday evening. The small affair was attended only by immediate family and closest friends and was specifically celebrated on the bride’s deceased sister’s birthday as a way to honor her memory . The spot was amazingly perfect for such beautiful celebration. Nancy arrived on a horse drawn carriage and was escorted down the aisle by her son. Their ceremony was brief but meaningful. After the ceremony the newlyweds enjoyed a carriage ride around the around park and some photos together and with those who were present. Photography coverage only included the ceremony, as that was what was most important to them. Afterwards, they all proceeded to Maggianos Short Pump for a nice dinner together… Short and sweet, and really beautiful!!
If you have been considering a small wedding like this, you should totally do it!! It is amazing and simple and really lovely… I think the photos speak for themselves!!
